덤게임랩(Dumb Game Lab, 이하 "회사")은 «쓸데없는 상식» 앱(이하 "앱")을 이용하는 분의 개인정보를 소중히 다루며, 개인정보 보호법 제30조에 따라 아래와 같이 처리방침을 공개합니다. 앱은 회원가입 없이 이용합니다.
회사는 이름, 이메일, 전화번호, 연락처, 위치, 사진처럼 개인을 알아볼 수 있는 정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 아래 이용 통계만 자동으로 수집합니다.
이용 통계는 Google Analytics 의 기본 보관 기간인 14개월 동안 보관한 뒤 자동으로 삭제됩니다. 수집한 통계는 개인을 알아볼 수 없는 형태라 특정인의 것만 골라 지울 수 없습니다. 전자적 파일은 복구할 수 없는 방법으로 삭제합니다.
앱은 Google Firebase Analytics 를 사용해 위 통계를 자동으로 수집합니다. 쿠키는 쓰지 않습니다. 수집을 원하지 않으면 앱을 삭제하면 되며, 삭제하면 그 기기에서 새 통계가 만들어지지 않습니다. 기기 설정에서 광고 개인 최적화를 끄는 것과는 관계가 없습니다.
고른 캐릭터, 읽은 이야기, 북마크와 폴더, 알림 설정은 기기 안에만 저장되고 서버로 보내지 않습니다. 앱을 지우면 같이 지워집니다.
앱은 새 이야기를 받기 위해 콘텐츠 서버(dumbgamelab.com, GitHub Pages)에 접속합니다. 이때 개인을 식별하는 값은 보내지 않지만, 호스팅 업체(GitHub)가 접속 기록(IP 주소 등)을 남길 수 있습니다. 회사는 그 기록을 받거나 열람하지 않습니다.
알림은 기기가 스스로 예약하는 로컬 알림이라 외부 서버를 거치지 않습니다. 알림 권한은 켜기를 누를 때만 묻고, 기기 설정에서 언제든 끌 수 있습니다. 홈 화면 위젯은 앱이 기기 안에 저장한 오늘의 이야기 제목과 그림만 읽습니다.
이용자는 언제든 개인정보의 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리 정지를 요구할 수 있습니다. 다만 앞서 설명한 통계는 개인을 식별하지 못하는 정보라 특정인의 것을 찾아낼 수 없습니다. 요청은 아래 보호책임자에게 이메일로 보내 주시면 지체 없이 처리합니다.
회사는 개인을 알아볼 수 있는 정보를 수집하지 않으며, 통계 데이터는 Google 계정 접근 통제 아래 최소한의 담당자만 열람합니다.
앱은 연령과 상관없이 개인을 알아볼 수 있는 정보를 수집하지 않습니다.

이 방침이 바뀌면 앱 업데이트와 이 페이지에 먼저 알립니다. 지금 방침은 2026년 10월 17일부터 적용됩니다.

Useless Facts (the "App") is made by Dumb Game Lab. It shows one short fact comic a day. No account is needed.
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, location or photos. To improve the App we collect anonymous usage statistics through Google Firebase Analytics.
Your chosen character, read stories, bookmarks, folders and notification settings stay on your device and are not sent to a server. Deleting the App deletes them.
To get new stories the App connects to a content server (dumbgamelab.com, hosted on GitHub Pages). No identifier is sent, but the hosting provider (GitHub) may keep access logs such as your IP address. We do not receive or read those logs.
Notifications are local notifications scheduled by your device; no server is involved. The App asks for permission only when you turn them on, and you can turn them off in system settings at any time. The home screen widget only reads today's story title and picture that the App saved on your device.
Usage statistics are sent automatically over the internet to Google LLC (United States) while you use the App. If you do not want this, delete the App.
You may ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing. Because the statistics cannot be tied to a person, we cannot locate one person's records. Email the contact below.
The statistics cannot be tied to a person, so individual records cannot be selected for deletion. Deleting the App stops new statistics from that device. Data is kept for the Google Analytics default of 14 months.
The App does not collect personally identifiable information from anyone, of any age.
